Crawling along

So, Totomono is going... slowly. Very slowly, but then I dropped 140+ hours on Final Fantasy Tactics A2, so I guess it's par for the course for me.

It's a classic enough game, and if you were into the whole dungeon crawler thing back in the day, it may invoke a few good memories. Though, the sheer amount of random encounters I'm auto-battling through is a bit tiresome. I guess it's because I'm overlevelled or something from exploring every single square of every map I come across, but hardly anything is giving me any challenge.

Well okay, recently the monsters got to the point where I start being a bit careful every now and then, but on the whole, it's a pretty easy ride. I actually prefer my encounter rate a bit lower and the difficulty a bit higher.

Planning out my party was cool enough, though I do realize that I'm going to have to put a lot of effort into it. Sometimes some members of my party have to do some role-filling, and I realize that I might not be doing things optimally, but eh.

For the record, my party is (from final planned class to first):
Cael (me), Felpurr Monk <- Fighter <- Wizard
Engi Threepiece, Celestia Valkyrie <- Devout <- Thief
Yui Kounagi, Felpurr Psychicer <- Devout <- Wizard
Haruka Minami, Elf Devout <- Psychicer <- Valkyrie
Yuuka Uchida, Human Samurai <- Cleric <- Priest
Tsukiyo Ooba, Diabolos Thief <- Ranger <- Wizard

Yeah, Engi's role-filling for now. Not sure how that second phase will turn out, but eh.
