Oh wallet, what have I done to you? (The sequel)

Just back from a Japan trip. Within the next few weeks, I'll be blogging about the experience.

As a general outline of the trip, real quick so I can get to working on the ever increasing stack, which as can be predicted just bloated up...

We got to see the beach, the huge Daibutsu (Buddha statue) in Ushiku, and we climbed Mount Fuji. The previous post has a picture of the stone post up at the highest point of the mountain.

Later, I went off on my own and got to see Hikone Castle, Kaiyoudou's Figure Museum, and Sekigahara. After that, I went to see Kanazawa Castle and its neighboring garden Kenroku-en, then made my way down through the mountains on a bus to Shirakawa-gou, UNESCO World Heritage Site and model for Hinamizawa (from Higurashi). After that, I stopped in Nagoya for a quick look at Atsuta Jingu, then went back to Tokyo for a sentai bar, the Tokyo Sky Tree and more shopping.
