Just hold down the trigger and keep firing!

So, I guess after three years of the game being out, I finally got through the only portion of Razing Storm I haven't gotten to yet (the first stage and the beginning of the second), and I have to say...

... this game is short, and it is actually kinda easy.

Okay, maybe it was the machine settings or something, but after I got through the first stage on two credits, I proceeded to take the second only taking a single hit (maybe two, can't remember). I mean, I was fresh off Time Crisis 4 doing the same thing (and shooting left-handed), and I've played that game tons more. This was literally my third or fourth play of Razing Storm, and I didn't feel like I was credit-feeding even for a second.

Speaking of shooting left-handed, I notice that my left trigger finger tires out pretty quickly when compared to my right. When I started really playing these games, one of the things I would notice over... a half hour or so of playing Time Crisis 3, was that my right arm would get tired. A few weeks later, I wasn't having that problem anymore, and my trigger finger would last the entire game as opposed to... feeling tired about halfway through stage 3 like when I started out. My left trigger finger? Halfway through stage 2, it just quit. Let me play the game a lot more, and maybe I'll be able to shoot left-handed decently, but that requires moneys... though I notice my accuracy went up by about 10 percent or so. Is it because I'm being more conservative with my shots? That's probably it, because I was playing worse in just about every other aspect of the game.

Although I do notice I tend to rest differently between stages depending on whether I'm shooting with my left hand or my right hand. And for the record, the local TC4 and RS cabinets do have at least one gun that's accurate (to an extent). But I suppose for RS it doesn't matter as much seeing as you get crosshairs, and it doesn't keep track of your accuracy or award you points for it like TC does.

Oh and one final thing I've always wondered. At the end of stage 1-2 in TC4, you put away the machine guns and automatic cannons you've been using to blow away helicopters and tanks for a sniper rifle to stop a truck from going under a tunnel. So uhm... I understand the truck's got evidence in it but... why couldn't I just keep blasting my machine guns all around it to stop it? I mean, I'm sure if like ten or so cannon shells exploded around a truck, it'd tip over... or you could just rip up the road in front of it with your automatic cannon, and it'd crash on its own (like what happens if you snipe its tires flat). Oh well, still a cool scene, except some cabinets aren't calibrated well.

... Come to think of it, there's a way to invoke calibration mode on a TC4 machine - it seems to be hold the trigger and the pedal, then insert your credit. I'll have to try it sometime.
