You know how to make me look good!

So, I beat Devil May Cry 4 on Hard mode the other day.

The amount of challenge in that mode was pretty good, I think, except for the mission everyone hates (Mission 18). Fighting the Savior is just so dumb. Other than that, most missions didn't really take me more than a few tries to beat, and the last two actually only took me a single try amazingly enough. Mission 19 pits you against four bosses Megaman style (as in, Capcom's known gameplay design decision of face-all-the-bosses-again), along with a bunch of random fights (for me, at least), but somehow I managed to get through all of them without restarting the mission.

Mission 20 was easy, as always. It's a far cry from Mission 20 in Devil May Cry 3, that's for sure.

As for Mission 10, where you fight Dante... well, I fought him in Normal and beat him fair and square, so I didn't feel bad about laming him out in Hard. Especially not when his shotgun somehow causes knockback from across the room.

I don't know if I'll ever get to a Dante Must Die run, but I imagine if I do, I'll actually have to learn the levels and learn the boss fights pretty well. Maybe I should finish Devil May Cry 3 on Very Hard sometime.
