It's bad for the community

So, just for kicks, I decided to play a little bit of Devil May Cry 3 again, seeing as I stopped on Very Hard at Mission 12. That stage took me quite a few tries, and before, I never got past it. Something about two boss fights in a row, and my desire to do a no item run through the stage.

I don't know how many times I tried before, but this time it only took me three tries to beat the stage, and that's only coming back to it after many months of hiatus. Have I gotten better at action games?

Honestly, the Jester fight was probably one of the tougher fights for me, if only because there's one attack pattern that I'm not very good at, and one that I'm decent at. Jester chooses his attacks randomly, so if I'm lucky and get one that I can do, I could probably go through the fight without taking much damage. Unfortunately, I should always expect that at least one time, he's going to pull the one I have trouble with.

Geryon took a little practice to remember, but when I started playing a bit more conservatively, he went down without too much fuss. On Normal, I remember it was a little funny how I ran alongside Geryon, a horse with a carriage, pelting him with Summoned Swords as I kept up with him. But eventually the missiles he fired would catch up to me or he'd stop that attack and move to his next, so I decided to keep some distance on Very Hard.

But they're both down now, and I've got a Vante match on Mission 13, whenever I decide to take it on.
